The story of FortWar, and what changed this week. Built live, with you.
Boss waves and the Behemoth
Every 15th wave brings a Behemoth, a huge boss that slams the ground and roars for backup at half health. Chat gets to name it with !boss.
Your fort never sleeps
FortWar keeps running when you close the tab. When you come back, it replays the toughest moment of your absence, tells you who held the line, and lets you share the clip.
Chat's orbital strike
Viewers type !charge to power a satellite, and when it's full the first to type !strike drops a beam on the biggest crowd of monsters on screen. It fills fastest when lots of chat pitches in.
How FortWar gets made: live, with AI, with you
FortWar is about a month old and has had more than 200 changes, most of them made live on stream with AI writing the code alongside me. Here's how an idea in chat becomes part of the game.
Meet the horde
Seven kinds of monsters want your core, from the crawlers in every wave to a Behemoth every 15th. Here's what each one does and how to stop it.
Chat is a player
In FortWar, stream chat isn't an audience. Every ! command puts a viewer to work in your fort, and it's real help. Here's what each one does and why.
Why we're making FortWar
A fort that keeps fighting while you sleep, and a stream chat that's a real player in the game, not an audience. Here's where FortWar came from and why we're building it live, with you.
